Personal Life

Example automations applied to the things that fill your day, week, and year.

Reminders, backups, bills, monitoring, summaries — adapt to your Google Workspace and Gmail.

InTouch is a general-purpose automation platform. This page shows how it can be applied to personal-life workflows using example skills and jobs from the InTouch Hub. The platform handles much more than what's shown here; these are starting points to adapt.

These are examples, not turnkey products. Read the README and YAML for each before running. Most read from Google Sheets you maintain and send digests to whichever channel you prefer (email, Slack, Discord, Telegram).

What you can automate

Things you forget

Birthdays, prescriptions, plant watering, the parking meter, grades dropping, gym Mondays. All the small "should I have remembered that?" anxieties handled by a Sheet + a daily check.

Money flowing in and out

Utility-bill-spike alerts. Stock portfolio drift. Daily price reports on a watchlist. Invoice reminders to friends-and-family clients who owe you. Deal-hunting on your wishlist.

Backups and cleanup

Documents backed up to S3 weekly. Photos pushed to Drive on a schedule. Downloads folder swept after 30 days. The boring hygiene that you don't actually do by hand.

Daily briefings

Morning summary of today's weather, calendar, and top news. Inbox triage at 7 AM. Meeting notes turned into action items. PDFs filled from templates.
