InTouch BPM
The InTouch BPM J2EE Server (BPM Server) is a scalable, high-performance, fault-tolerant business process management server. The BPM Server is a highly multithreaded processing engine capable of handling extremely intensive processing loads. The architecture of the BPM Server supports clustering, hot-backup and tier 2 and tier 3 fault tolerance. The BPM Server provides tight controls over process execution. All process execution requests and activities are logged in the InTouch BPM repository. This provides a complete audit trail which can be used to verify compliance with financial regulatory requirements such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
The InTouch BPM Managment Console is a comprehensive, intuitive and highly-graphical solution used to design, deploy and manage process streams, events, content and integration descriptors. The BPM Management Console can be used with an unlimited number of BPM Servers hosted anywhere in the world. The process definition wizard makes it easy to define processes and deploy them to any BPM Server.
InTouch (Windows)
The functionality of the InTouch BPM product is available for operation on native Microsoft Windows operating systems. InTouch Windows provides similar functionality as on the J2EE platform except that the InTouch BPM Server operates as a service on Windows 2K/XP/2003 servers. The Alert and Content Agents support native links to Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes servers under native Windows.
